アレハンドロ・マルティネスは、ドレスデン国立歌劇場のソリストである。スペイン生まれ、ムルシアでホセ・アントニオ・ロブレス氏に師事する。2011年ローザンヌ国際バレエコンクールに出場し、ヒューストン・バレエ・アカデミーのサマーコースに参加する機会を得る。その後、ニューヨークへ移り、スクール・オブ・アメリカン・バレエを卒業。
白鳥の湖」「ラ・バヤデール」「眠れる森の美女」「くるみ割り人形」などのクラシックバレエや、キリアン、フォーサイス、ドーソン、アシュトン、バランシンなどの作品で主役を演じている。
また、ドーソン、エクマン、パルムクイスト、トーマスの新しい振付作品の役も担当している。
